Selected projects

Each of these projects reflects how I build scalable systems, design strategic programs, and help teams move from ideas to action.
My focus is on creating structures that support growth, strengthen collaboration, and connect everyday operations to broader goals.

Evidence Synthesis Learning Pathway Design

Built a structured learning and consultation pathway to guide researchers through completing systematic review protocols and evidence synthesis projects.

Role: Program Designer and Strategist
Challenge: Create a scalable, step-by-step learning system to support medical faculty, residents, fellows, and students working on review-based projects.
What I did: Developed a structured learning pathway aligned with evidence synthesis best practices, tied to research project milestones and designed to maximize consultation time with faculty librarians.
Outcome: Improved researcher preparation, made research consultations more focused and productive, and supported a sustainable framework for guiding researchers from project start to protocol completion.

Strategic Role Creation and Funding Initiative

Designed, secured funding for, and launched a first-of-its-kind academic library role integrating community engagement, participatory research, and research support.

Role: Strategic Lead, Operational Designer
Challenge: Address service gaps in research support and community engagement while aligning the role with broader organizational goals.
What I did: Built the case for a new operational role, tied it to the organization’s strategic priorities, developed cross-department partnerships, and secured permanent full-time funding. Designed services combining community-based participatory research (CBPR), research instruction, and public research collaboration.
Outcome: Created the first permanent library role of its kind, establishing a scalable structure for cross-functional community engagement and research support.

Academic Library Commons Planning and Rollout

Co-led the planning and phased rollout of a new academic library commons designed to meet accreditation needs, student research goals, and evolving library services.

Role: Co-Lead, Cross-Institutional Planning Team
Challenge: Build a service and study space that aligned with accreditation standards, research needs, and library operational goals.
What I did: Led service planning conversations, mapped operational workflows, helped shape the initial collections strategy, and co-developed the strategic planning document guiding service rollout and space use.
Outcome: Delivered a phased launch that introduced services in stages, culminating in a fully operational academic commons aligned with research support and accreditation requirements.

AI Ethics and Literacy Roundtable Initiative

Originated and led an internal initiative to build cross-departmental engagement with AI ethics, bias awareness, and research practices.

Role: Idea Originator, Facilitator, and Program Lead
Challenge: Create space for critical discussions about the ethical use of AI in research and library services.
What I did: Proposed and structured the roundtable, developed discussion topics, and facilitated conversations on AI bias, responsible use, and practical research integration.
Outcome: Strengthened internal literacy around emerging technologies and built momentum for thoughtful AI adoption in research support.
